Below, you’ll find some of the most commonly encountered questions that we’ve received. If anything’s left unclear once you read through them, you can always Contact Us by phone, email, or live chat.

The Anodyne Difference

We wouldn’t put our name on a product that isn’t better than everything else out there. Find out what makes us, our brand, our service, and our products different by reading about Our Story.

Turnaround Times

Standard Orders -

Typically, all orders will ship no later than 24 hours after your order is placed.

Custom Orders -

Custom insert orders will ship up to 3 days after a scan or foam impression and the associated order form is received. Partial Foot Toe Filler orders will ship up to 5 days after the order and paperwork have been received.

Typically, our products are shipped via UPS. We offer three shipping options:

- Ground: 3-5 days

- 2nd Day: 2 days

- Next Day: 1 day

Each shipping option is offered at the applicable UPS published rate. If you have an account, you may login to view your entire order history with more complete details.

We stand behind our products and services, and therefore offer a 6-month, no questions asked return policy. For sock orders, we do request that these be unworn and returned in the original packaging. All orders are shipped with a pre-paid UPS return label in the box, so returning them is easy.

Return Instructions

1. Fill out the return form (located on the packing slip) and when applicable, a lab rework form

2. Place shoes in a protective outer box

3. Write down the tracking number for your records

4. Attach the pre-paid UPS return label to your package

5. Drop off the package at any UPS authorized location or give to your UPS driver

Once we have received your returned product(s), we will process them immediately. Please note it can take up to 5 days for the credit to appear on your bank statement.

Please note, we cannot offer refunds for any of our custom products (Custom Accommodative Inserts, Partial Foot Toe Fillers, and/or Shoe Modifications). However, we will rework these items at no additional cost. In addition, if a “mismate” pair of shoes is ordered, the 50% upcharge applied to the order is nonrefundable.

If you cannot find the pre-paid return label, you can generate a new label by clicking the button below:

Out of Stock

If an order is placed for an item that is out of stock, we will be sure to let you know by email and/or a phone call. Your order will remain in the queue, and once that particular product is back in stock, we will send it out to you immediately. We’ll also make sure to keep you in the loop with updates once we have a firmer ETA of the product. As always, feel free to contact our customer support team for any updates.

Fitting Tips

It’s important to note that all shoe manufacturers use their own lasts to construct their footwear. As a result, the continuity of fit from one manufacturer to the next can be very inconsistent. At Anodyne, we designed our shoes to fit fuller in the instep and toe box, relative to other diabetic shoe companies, in order to better accommodate a thicker orthotic and any potential swelling. Nonetheless, our shoes, in general, fit slightly larger than our competitors’ do. Please see our fitting tips below, based off of recommendations from our in-house Pedorthic team.

Women's Styles -

In relation to other diabetic footwear companies, our women’s shoes run a half size to a full size bigger. Based on a standard brannock or our foot measuring device, we recommend the following sizing:

- If in-between sizes, round down to the nearest ½ size

- If in-between widths, round down to the smaller width

Men's Styles -

In relation to other diabetic footwear companies, our Men’s shoes run the same length. Based on a standard brannock or our foot measuring device, we recommend the following sizing:

- If in-between sizes, round down to the nearest ½ size

- If in-between widths, round down to the smaller width

While following these tips will help you select the best size/width combination, it’s very important to use one of our fitting centers to actually try the shoes on the patient. All of our shoes are made on the same last, so they should fit virtually the exact same, no matter what style the patient tries on.

Width Conversions

Below are our recommended width conversions for our shoes.

Men's -

- Medium: C, D

- Wide: E, EE

- Extra Wide: EEE, EEEE+

Women's -

- Medium: B, C

- Wide: D, E

- Extra Wide: EE, EEE+

PDAC Review
